Associate of Arts and Sciences in Apostolic Ministry: Advancing the Kingdom like King Jesus

This curriculum is designed to prepare students for effective apostolic ministry that reflects the life and teachings of Jesus. It aims to develop apostles who call, teach, train, empower, and send like Jesus, set an example like Jesus, advance the Kingdom like Jesus, build the church like Jesus, make disciples and apostles like Jesus, teach and preach like Jesus, speak like Jesus, heal like Jesus, cast out demons like Jesus, are led and filled by the Holy Spirit like Jesus, and are empowered like Jesus in order to explore new territories and expand the Kingdom of God all over the world. The end goal is to transform all chosen apostles into the full image of Jesus Christ, our Great Apostle. This program meets or exceeds the standards of accredited schools in America.

General Education Requirements (30 credit hours):

1. English Composition (6 credit hours):
   • ENG 101: English Composition I (3 credit hours)
   • ENG 102: English Composition II (3 credit hours)
2. Mathematics (3 credit hours):
   • MAT 101: College Algebra or MAT 102: Introduction to Statistics (3 credit hours)
3. Natural Sciences (3-4 credit hours):
   • BIO 101: General Biology or ENV 101: Environmental Science (3-4 credit hours)
4. Social Sciences (6 credit hours):
   • PSY 101: Introduction to Psychology (3 credit hours)
   • SOC 101: Introduction to Sociology (3 credit hours)
5. Humanities (6 credit hours):
   • HIS 101: World History I (3 credit hours)
   • PHI 101: Introduction to Philosophy (3 credit hours)
6. Communication (3 credit hours):
   • COM 101: Public Speaking (3 credit hours)
7. Elective (3 credit hours):
   • Any general education course of student’s choice (3 credit hours)

Core Biblical Studies Requirements (24 credit hours):

1. Foundations of Biblical Studies (6 credit hours):
   • BIB 101: Survey of the Old Testament (3 credit hours)
   • BIB 102: Survey of the New Testament (3 credit hours)
2. Life and Teachings of Jesus (6 credit hours):
   • BIB 201: The Life and Ministry of Jesus (3 credit hours)
   • BIB 202: Parables and Teachings of Jesus (3 credit hours)
3. Apostolic Ministry and Leadership (9 credit hours):
   • MIN 301: Introduction to Apostolic Ministry (3 credit hours)
   • MIN 302: Principles of Effective Teaching and Preaching (3 credit hours)
   • MIN 303: Healing, Deliverance, and Kingdom Authority (3 credit hours)
4. The Holy Spirit and Empowerment (3 credit hours):
   • BIB 301: The Holy Spirit in the New Testament (3 credit hours)

Practical Ministry Electives (6 credit hours):

Students can choose from the following electives to gain practical ministry skills:

1. Pastoral Care and Counseling (3 credit hours):
   • MIN 304: Introduction to Pastoral Care and Counseling (3 credit hours)
2. Worship and Music Ministry (3 credit hours):
   • WOR 301: Foundations of Worship Ministry (3 credit hours)
3. Youth and Children’s Ministry (3 credit hours):
   • MIN 305: Introduction to Youth and Children’s Ministry (3 credit hours)
4. Missions and Outreach (3 credit hours):
   • MIS 301: Introduction to Missions and Outreach (3 credit hours)

Capstone Project (3 credit hours):

1. Capstone in Apostolic Ministry (3 credit hours):
   • MIN 401: Integrative Capstone Project (3 credit hours)
   • This course requires students to integrate their learning into a comprehensive project focused on apostolic ministry, demonstrating practical application and ministry skills.

Total Credit Hours: 63-64
